Located on Route 66, Hualapai Lodge is situated 1 hour from the Grand Canyon's base via Diamond Creek Road (permit required) and 2 hours from the South Rim. The Grand Canyon Skywalk is 122 miles away. Each room features a flat-screen TV, seating area, free Wi-Fi, and contemporary furnishings, including a coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, and microwave. Onsite amenities include a year-round hot tub, heated pool, restaurant, fitness center, and business center.

The room was clean and spacious, and it’s a good base for visiting West Grand Canyon; however, the staff weren’t consistently friendly and the night was very noisy because trains ran all night.

The staff were very nice and helpful, the facilities were clean, and there were no issues.

Very close to Universal Studios and the food was nice, but the room needed renovation and maintenance: the bathroom faucets and seals were old and leaking, the bath door hinges were loose and misaligned, there were lighting problems, and the safe had no batteries so I had to ask for replacements.

The location on Route 66 was exactly what we wanted for touring that route, and I appreciated supporting tribal nations when possible; the restaurant had a lot of flies, which they apologized for before we even noticed, and the rooms felt a bit dated.
