I liked the refurbishment, but the ghost‑like vibe was a bit unsettling.

The price and location were great, yet the hotel was still under refurbishment—no kettle for coffee or tea, no remote for the TV, curtains didn’t fit, and no cleaner came during our stay.

I never actually stayed and the refund was refused; the room smelled bad, the poor ventilation triggered my son's asthma, and when I pointed out the medical and safety issue the staff ignored it and tried to charge me. I never stayed, my refund request was denied, and the complaint ended up at my next hotel instead of here—avoid at all costs.
