Excellent location, staff very courteous and helpful, spacious room. Some services, also because the building is old, would need more modernization.
“Al Porto or Almayer BnB?”
The location is good, but we couldn't check in or stay there. We had phone issues and couldn't send or receive messages, nor get WiFi; we still went to the BnB's location but the door was locked and no one was present. Moreover, the name on the doorbell was not Al Porto but Almayer BnB. I rang all the doorbells, a woman answered one and said there was a BnB upstairs but she didn't know anything and couldn't let me in. We had to find another hotel and tried to call the BnB; no one answered but they called back later. I asked for a partial refund since I had to pay them and the other hotel, she said it couldn't be done but would ask. I can't honestly say this BnB is good or bad, but after finally getting there, no one was there and no way to find them.

Nothing. The room was a nightmare with no window and no air conditioning. We asked to change rooms, they demanded an extra 60 euros in total, raising the price from 170 to 230 euros. It felt like theft; the room had a window but the AC had a discharge pipe outside the window, it made terrible noise that made sleeping impossible. We were shocked by the structure and the treatment. To avoid the penalty we were forced to accept this scam. How do you put a phantom property like this on Booking?
