The surroundings were gorgeous, with the park nicely positioned between Holten and Rijssen. From the moment we arrived, we noticed the outdoor table hadn't been cleaned and still had dirt from previous guests; the table leg was loose and crooked. Further inspection revealed poor housekeeping: all windows were smudged, the TV had streaks, mold appeared on the shower grout, dust coated the tops of the cabinets, and the pans in the drawer were greasy. A nice welcome gift of Nespresso cups was appreciated if you have a Nespresso machine. One bathrobe had a brown stain, and the sauna wood was blackened in several spots. For the price you pay, including extra costs for two days, you would expect a higher standard of cleaning.
