The location is excellent and the breakfast was good. The rooms were nice, and we didn’t need air conditioning anyway. A few items on the restaurant menu were unavailable, probably because we arrived just outside of season.

Nothing… a total disaster. The surroundings are filthy, with prostitutes on the street, parties until dawn, and constant noise and raucous crowds. The breakfast offered only one type of stale cheese, bad cold cuts, a hard‑boiled egg, and that’s all. There was only one receptionist who also worked as a waiter in the “restaurant,” a cleaner, etc. Rooms had no air conditioning. The street around the hotel was smelly with urine. There was no parking; only city parking with time limits.

The stay was pleasant in the heart of the city, but the location was not ideal.

The hotel was decent and in the liveliest part of Calais; the bathroom was spacious, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant served fresh fries. However, the single room’s bed was the size of a teenager’s bed, unsuitable for an adult, and the shower was positioned on the floor. I suggest installing a glass rack to catch any water that spills after showering—something I saw in a very comfortable hotel. I was fortunate to have one in my car and used it.
