The TV in our room had surprisingly good picture quality compared to the rest of the hotel, but the stairs were a real challenge for anyone with mobility issues. Our room door had large gaps that let bugs in— we found a tiny cockroach, a big grasshopper, a small spider, and a swarm of ants that followed any food or drink marks. There was also a pool on a higher floor, but the water was murky, so we never wanted to dive in.

We had to climb a lot of stairs, yet the location is a short walk from town. The bed was comfy and the air‑con worked well. Ants were everywhere, so keep food sealed. The place is a bit out of town, but you’ll hear dogs and roosters. The food is typical of the Philippines— very basic. The breakfast staff seemed more interested in their phones than serving guests.

The place is well‑situated, but getting to the room and pool requires climbing many stairs.

It was very quiet, well‑secured, the pool was great, and the restaurant and breakfast were superb—we recommend it without hesitation! The door to our room didn’t lock, but a guard at the entrance gave us peace of mind. If you book a room next to the pool, expect a lot of steps. It’s a bit far from the city center—about a 10‑minute walk—and you can still get around easily.
