“Authentische Ästhetik Juwel abseits der Massentourismus”

It was a total stroke of luck – perfect location and great hosts! Looking back, the place’s position is even better than I first thought. The house sits ideally between two beautiful beaches that are essentially a hop, skip, and a jump away by bike. Bicycles can be rented directly from the host for a small fee, and a bike is a must here! Even though I was skeptical at first, it works wonderfully without an e‑bike. I’m glad we didn’t book a hotel right on the main beach. Many of those hotels are on stretches where swimming is partially forbidden because of strong waves or you can only reach the water via the beach bars. Here it was perfect. Nearby, there are a few good take‑aways and the supermarket is quickly reachable by bike. The town itself is quiet and authentic, far from mass tourism, yet everything is still very accessible. The room was really great: everything is solidly built, super clean, and beautifully furnished. In person it even looks better than the photos! The owner is incredibly friendly, helpful, and not at all pushy. A real highlight was that his daughter became friends with our daughter—the girls had a great time and a lot of fun together on the beach. Breakfast is served on the terrace in the morning, with fresh fruit, cheese, and bread every day. On the departure day we even received a lunch pack for the trip. Highly recommended! We would definitely come back.

If you’re looking for peace and a perfect host, Russel is the right choice! The breakfast is generous and super tasty, served with great care and on time on the terrace in front of the room. Russell is very well connected, helps with everything, and lends bikes effortlessly. Warmest recommendation!

The location was great, the place was quiet, and the dinner was outstanding. It would be nice if future guests could have free bicycles.

“Perfect stay in La Digue. Would highly recommend!”

The room was huge, spotless, and secure—much bigger than the photos suggested! The air conditioning was the best throughout our stay in the Seychelles. The bed was large and very comfortable. The balcony breakfast area was a lovely, private spot to sit and eat. Russel cooked breakfast every morning, and it was huge and delicious! He was very helpful, friendly, and approachable—a brilliant host. Nothing to complain about!
