“Decent for short-term stays”
The hotel is located off the main tourist routes, which means there aren't as many people in the streets and as many cars on the roads. It is possible to go on foot to the beach and the old town, but the beach is probably a 35 minute walk, and the city centre is about 25 minutes. There was a place to wait till the official check in, and the manager even brought me coffee and cookies. 1) the check-in time on my booking said 8 am - and I booked this hotel specifically for that reason (red eye flight). Yet, when I arrived, I had to wait till 12 pm 2) there is no one at the check-in desk, ever. You have to hunt them down if you need something. Even if you are trying to pay. 3) probably the biggest issue - the bathroom is constructed in such a way that there is a hole in the floor where the water is supposed to go when you shower. After taking a shower, it is impossible to enter the bathroom/use the toilet because the floor is wet, for hours. 4) there was a hair in the fridge and the toothbrush glass was dirty As a result, the hotel is OK if you are staying for a couple of days, but, after that, all those issues are becoming very annoying
