I returned in April and was delighted to find the same room with a view of the High Street; the bed was comfy, the bathroom excellent, and there was a nice selection of teas and coffee, plus breakfast delivered right to my door—absolutely fantastic! The stationers shop downstairs is worth a visit too. The only drawback was that the walls are thin, so if the next‑door room has the TV on loud while yours is off, you hear every word; however, each room has a sign asking for quiet between 11 and 7, which seems to work.

Excellent location in the town!!! The room was very clean, and the fan in my room was a big plus. Thin walls, but the quiet time from 11 to 7 is a great idea.
