“自然体で優しいオーナーとスタッフ(オーナーのお嬢さん)が心尽くしのおもてなしをしてくださる、最高のお宿です”
I stayed at a guest house that rented out the entire building to a single group for the day—a first-time experience for me. It felt like returning home to welcome family, with warm, attentive care that made it the best experience. We had a sunset drink set and breakfast, both outstanding. The sunset set was served on a table set up on the private, deserted beach of Kitagawa, with tasty hors d’oeuvres and beer—like a luxury moment that felt like a warp to Nice. Breakfast featured organic vegetable salad, a tandoor‑style pot of steamed veggies, escabeche of local fish, and rice in a pot—very healthy. For dessert, homemade bread French toast. Even though we couldn’t finish everything, the host packed the leftovers for lunch, allowing us to have a tasty picnic. It was an experience that made me wonder if such a kind, hospitality‑filled place exists. The only downside was that the house is a renovated old building, so the plumbing and other water‑related areas don’t match the level of a luxury hotel, but the sense and thoughtfulness were evident throughout.
