“Peaceful and relaxing after a long walk on ODP”
Stunning space, tranquil and comfy; owners super friendly. Views stretch for miles, rain on the yurt feels soothing, and the electric blanket was fantastic!
“Great Stay Again! We loved it again!! 🩷”
Lovely stay, great spot. Met Simon, who was very welcoming. This was our second visit; it’s so peaceful, the bed super comfy, log burner great. Everything needed is there; internet is okay, but you’re meant to escape home. Loved the visits from Pickle the dog—cute, friendly, loves biscuits. The yurt feels cozy, especially at night with fairy lights and the log burner. Morning coffee while watching wildlife and sheep was blissful. I’d recommend it. No major dislikes, maybe update the outdoor furniture—it’s getting old, but we covered it with blankets. No complaints; hosts are available whenever needed. Yurts on the property stay private and don’t bother you.
Loved the setting, the peace. The cosiness of the yurt was incredible. It exceeded our expectations and would love to stay again!!. It would have been good to have a welcome manual and guidance abour the log burner and what we need to do at checkout
“Disappointed”
The bed looked great, but the place felt a bit worn and in need of an upgrade. The bed and lights were pretty, yet the yurt had a musty smell. Outside furniture was broken, kitchen was just a shed, and the toilet and shower were basic. We chose not to stay, never saw the hosts, and the website photos seemed outdated—signage was also poor.
Very comfy, lovely surroundings—just beautiful. Nothing to add.
