“A gem of a hotel in a cute little town”

I stayed at a superb hotel just a stone's throw from the stunning Hosios Loukas Monastery and a short drive from the ancient site of Delphi; the staff kindly allowed a very late check‑in around 1 am, my room was huge with great air conditioning, strong Wi‑Fi, and fabulous hot water in the shower, and parking was directly opposite the hotel in the square—though I didn’t have time to enjoy Distomo, it was clear there were plenty of cafés, restaurants, and shops nearby if I had more time.

The hotel was clean, renovated, and in a very good location right in front of the square and the church, with a helpful owner who was willing to do everything.

“Eigentlich toll, könnte mit wenig Aufwand sehr viel schöner sein.”

The staff were very friendly and the hotel’s location is lovely. The room could use a cozy armchair and indirect lighting to feel more homely. The large terrace is beautiful, but it’s empty—no chairs, tables, or umbrella. The air‑conditioner only blows warm air and can’t cool.

The location is excellent and the owner offers great service. The room is clean and comfortable. Parking is easy and walking access to restaurants and shops is convenient. The room could have been better equipped, but for the price it was quite satisfactory.
