The location is fantastic, almost at the end of a dead‑end road. It’s two bridges from the road to the lodge and a steep, slick road up. The room had a good bed and a fantastic balcony with a view. The bathroom was okay but had a shower hose attached to the sink for showering. There was a lounge area on the ground floor that we didn’t use and a restaurant a bit further up. Beautiful paintings on the walls. The host was very friendly. Aside from a trip to the waterfall and the village, there was little to do on foot, so you almost have to book a shuttle or a tour. The terrain itself seemed worn out and poorly maintained; for example, the pool was completely unusable. We felt the food at the restaurant, both in the evening and breakfast, was below average for Vietnam (and we’re not picky!). The vegetarian selection was limited.

The room was nicely furnished and the bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was very good, and the owner, who handled several roles, was helpful. Because the hotel is located deep in the valley, we had to pay a high price for a guided tour. The grounds around the buildings were poorly maintained and very slippery, and the place felt very commercial with nothing offered. We stayed for 2 nights; the towels were changed but the beds were not made.

If you want a truly remote, rustic spot surrounded by nature yet with a few comforts like very cozy beds, hot water, and tasty food, this is a great place. The breakfast spread was good and it was a short, easy walk to the waterfall. The pool was unusable.

The staff were very friendly and ready to help with any need. The room was standard, the walls made of red earth were scenic but not very practical, releasing earth on contact. Dinner was good, breakfast nothing exceptional. The pool was unusable, the water was unclean and unmaintained, and it was also very small.
