It’s a nice small hotel above a coffee shop/lunch room in an authentic Tokyo neighborhood, right next to the stop of the oldest still running tram in Tokyo, with metro and bus a short walk away; coffee and food were tasty and the people were friendly.

The hotel sits close to Minowa station (Hibiya Line) and the Toden tram, with nearby cafés and quirky shops; the owner was very helpful and kind, and the room’s design is unique—love the tatami room. Nothing was wrong, everything was great, but note that the emergency exit code points to the door lock outside the café once you check in after 7 pm.

The lower‑ranked room had nothing at all, and even though we booked for three people only two sets of amenities were provided, but the shop downstairs kindly let us borrow a microwave.

A huge two‑bedroom apartment with washer/dryer—truly impressive for Tokyo! The neighborhood is very friendly and easy to reach, with plenty of shops nearby, making it perfect for a family. The hotel has almost no staff on site outside of the café’s opening hours, but they are very responsive, so that didn’t bother us too much.

The staff are very friendly, the price is reasonable, and the old neighbourhood is fun. The room could use more towels, and they’re not stored in the cabinet under the sink, so they’re hard to find.
