City Lodge Hotel Maputo, Mozambique

“Stylish but welcoming”

I chose this hotel because it offered an airport taxi shuttle to Maputo airport, just a 10‑minute drive away. Inside, the hotel is lovely; the staff are welcoming, the food is excellent with plenty of buffet choices, my room was spotless and the bed comfortable, and all the usual amenities like tea/coffee, Wi‑Fi, TV were present. I also liked the walk‑in shower. The only issue was that at 4 am I was woken by someone knocking on my door, apparently a mix‑up with the wrong room; the staff checked CCTV and confirmed it was a mistake.

“We had a restful and peaceful perfect Night”

The room space, the comfort of the bed, the shower. We were received by Natalie, such a beautiful soul and very kind. I honestly didn't notice anything I can say is of concern, we were there for only 1 night so maybe that's why we didn't take much notice of a lot of things but overally, its a beautiful place and would go back whenever I visit Maputo
