The breakfast was tasty, especially the apple juice, and I had three refills. Every time I returned from a trip, the front desk staff shouted loudly “Ittara shimasu!” and “Okaerinasai!” which felt a bit annoying.

A truly great hotel, just like the chain’s reputation: a spacious, nicely furnished room, clean, and in a superb location right by the station, with friendly staff. Unfortunately, the firm mattresses are typical of the chain.

Close to the train station and bus terminal, with very friendly and helpful staff. The coffee was great, and the rooms made good use of limited space. The bed was probably a bit too firm, and the rooms were quite tight, especially if staying more than one night.

The room was fine and the location was convenient, but the building feels old. Breakfast required lining up like in a school cafeteria, and the bathroom fixtures are about 25 years old, so the water pressure is almost misty.
