The heated pool was great, and overall the price‑to‑quality ratio was fine.

The only thing that was okay was the pool. The building no longer has a kitchen, breakfast, or air‑conditioning, and the room was very dark. The beer we bought at arrival was already expired (we only noticed later) 🥴 The back entrance door stayed open all night, even though it’s supposed to be accessed with a code. I definitely wouldn’t spend a holiday there again.

The pool and the size of the room with a balcony were very good. Compared to private apartments in central Petrosani, the available parking is a plus. Wi‑Fi worked. The nearest restaurant or shop is at least 2 km away. The pension sits on a heavily trafficked road, and at night vehicles pass by at high speed, making it loud. The stairs to the upper‑floor rooms are steep. House staff were absent in the mornings and evenings on several days, despite the accommodation being well booked. There was no air‑conditioning in the room.
