Calling it breakfast is absurd—no thought for allergies or diets, just coffee and pastry, and you had to cross a busy street to reach the café. We were handed a ticket, no one greeted us, and the key didn’t work at 10 pm; we stood at the gate until a resident appeared. The entry code wasn’t posted on the wall, and only a resident revealed it three nights later. The front gate key jammed, frightening us when we returned after dinner. No beds were made or fresh towels left, and we didn’t know we’d have to share the kitchen with the next door room. Strangers wandered in every night, and the owner appeared on the second night, claiming he’d called but didn’t, then demanded his tax and ID after saying the number was wrong.

The location was great with plenty of services and good transport links; the quadruple room with a bunk was comfortable and spacious, and the common area was well equipped, especially the cold water dispenser, which was very handy. Overall we liked it.
