“clean budget hotel not far from Filaret bus station”
The hotel sits on a very quiet street. Grocery stores are close by. What I liked most was the basement kitchen where you can cook a meal yourself. There were several kinds of tea available to guests. Also there was a coffee machine and good coffee. My room was basic but tidy and clean. It would be nice to have a lamp on the bedside table.
“Good”
We slipped into the narrow lane and managed to check in a little before eleven, where the owner handed us a four‑person room that felt very spacious and featured large windows, with the two rooms sharing a single fridge; the downside was that there was no kettle for hot water in the room.
The price was relatively low, the bathroom was private, the owner was friendly, and you could pay by card with air‑conditioning. But there were cockroaches! The towels were dirty, yet after calling the owner he brought fresh ones. The bedding had some marks – I’m not sure if they were dirty or just unwashed. The shower head was dirty too. Overall, the stay wasn’t comfortable.
“All good”
It’s within walking distance of a bus/train stop, a grocery store, and a kitchen. The host is very helpful when needed. The host should have the charging machine (hotel fee) with him at check‑in.
The place was spotless, and the gentleman who took care of us was very kind, and the kitchen coffee was a nice touch.
