The spot was spot on – a quick stroll to the ferry dock and a short walk to Amalfi’s main square. Most places in Amalfi are perched on stairs, but Hotel Aurora sits at ground level and even has an elevator, so lugging several bags was a breeze. The mattresses felt a touch firmer than what we’re used to.

The place is well‑situated. The rooms are tiny and the shower is very narrow, which doesn’t match the price.
