The location couldn't be better – the ski bus stops right in front of the hotel, which made getting on the slopes a breeze. We chose half‑board and the food was fantastic, everything was tasty and plentiful. All in all, a great spot for a ski weekend.

Checking out turned into a nightmare – the staff behaved completely inappropriately, and the payment process got so chaotic we actually had to call the police. It was an incredibly stressful way to end the stay.

Breakfast was a real highlight, offering a huge spread of breads, cheeses, eggs and bacon that kept us satisfied. Our room was on the small side and a bit dated, but the balcony gave us a nice mountain view and we could use the tiny sauna after asking staff to switch it on (though we waited about twenty minutes). The downside was that there was no front desk; we had to cross the street to register, and when we tried to cancel the second night they wouldn't budge without charging the full rate.

The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast buffet solid, plus the sauna was pleasant when it wasn't crowded. Our dog was welcome for a reasonable weekly fee, which was a nice touch.

We were able to arrange a late checkout, which was convenient for our travel plans. The breakfast, however, left something to be desired – it could have been more substantial and of higher quality. Overall, a decent stay but the morning meals need improvement.
