When we checked in, the owner handed my son a couple of tins of Coca-Cola, which was a nice touch, and everything else was great from arrival to departure. The only downside was that the bed felt a bit spongey, but that was the only issue.

The place is in a fantastic spot, just 2 minutes from Anfield and 6 minutes from the bus stop, and it’s quiet and tidy. The host was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean, but the walls were dirty and clearly need a fresh coat of paint or a good cleaning.

The staff went out of their way to help without being intrusive, the room was spotless, and the location was good. The hotel itself is an old police station, which added character. There was nothing to dislike.
