The front desk clerk, a very nice older lady, gave great dining recommendations and we had a pleasant chat; overall, there was nothing negative to mention. Some items were a bit worn and needed repairs, but everything else was clean and functional. We were happy with our stay while attending a Western horse show, though we could use more pillows.

The shower was amazing with hot water, but the house‑cleaning crew entered our room at 9:30 am and called us at 10:00 am when checkout was at 11:00 am, walking in while we were still sleeping – the worst staff and cleaning service ever! I love sleeping at Eagles Nest, but the staff made me not want to book there again; please improve. Even if we were told to leave around 10:50 am, having to leave at 10:00 am was insane.

The room was spotless, but the TV and phone were broken at first; the staff fixed them right away.

Everything I needed for a one‑night stay was there and it was clean and secure, though not five‑star perfect, which I expected. The right armrest on my chair was broken, a minor issue. Checking in took a minute, but I’m an adult who can tolerate mild inconvenience. Breakfast offered eggs and sausage, which I liked because I don’t eat many carbs. I’ve been visiting Statesboro since 2017 and never stayed elsewhere because Eagle’s Nest consistently meets my reasonable expectations.
