We arrived at the hotel around 10 pm, which was outside the check‑in window, and the lights were already off and the reception was locked. We called the number on Booking and a lady sent us another phone number. We called that, heard the hotel phone ring, saw the lights turn on, and a staff member answered. We explained we were in front of the hotel and the response was a flat “No” before the line was hung up. We then had to find a new hotel at 11 pm, and no one answered the door there either.

The receptionist arranged transportation for me because the taxi drivers wouldn’t come. The area is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. The scenery is lovely, but arranging a taxi is almost miraculous, so it’s better to drive yourself.

The beds are comfortable. You have to wait at least 30 minutes for hot water to arrive from the neighboring building.
