The location is close to the historic center, and staying in a well‑restored old house is interesting; the room was large but cluttered with décor—small items, flowers, etc.

Big rooms. 2 queen sized beds, 2 toilets, 1 balcony, free afternoon tea for minimum 2 nights stay, 1 sitting area, and 1 make up desk. Helped us to hold our luggage before flight and staff gave many on point recommendations. Really nice welcome tea/drink. Walking distance to many eating places. Quiet. Good soundproofing. Stairs to the second floor are fairly steep. They did help us bring out larger luggage up and down

The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful and the location was great. One of the beds felt extremely hard.

It’s a charming historic house with friendly staff. The heritage building offers the expected character of such places, and the location was excellent—far from the busy tourist roads, giving a more local vibe. Food and coffee were good and close by, and the hawker area is a short walk at night. Popular photo spots with murals are also nearby, and a free local shuttle bus stop isn’t far. Our room was spacious, had good air‑conditioning, and the daily fruit afternoon tea delivery was tasty and high quality. The Wi‑Fi in the room was awful even though a router sat just outside, and mobile reception inside the building was poor. The bed was fairly firm but not hard, and the pillows were good. Our unit had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but only one shower had hot water because of the building’s age—though that didn’t bother us. Local mosques have loud speakers for early prayers, so bring earplugs if you need to sleep past 6 am. One night a baby cried for hours, and earplugs were necessary then too.
