“Basique mais suffisant pour juste dormir avec des bouchons d'oreilles”
We liked how kind and available the manager was; the room was basic but clean. There’s a small common room where you can have coffee or tea in the morning. The property is about 1h00 on foot from Rome’s center, not exactly in Trastevere but in the Gianicolense zone. It takes roughly 30 minutes on foot to reach Trastevere from the apartment. However, a tram is 5 minutes away and gets you into the city center in 25/30 minutes. The room is in a large apartment in a residential building close to the train and the road, which makes it noisy. The sound insulation doesn’t block neighbors’ noise, so it’s hard to sleep long in the morning. The shower also has issues – the cold and hot water aren’t great. The neighborhood isn’t spectacular; it’s really just a place to sleep.
