The hosts were polite, but it felt like running the B&B was a chore for them. The hostess seemed curt and uninterested in chatting. In the morning we only saw the host at breakfast, who did take a moment to talk. Our room was on the second floor, so a lot of stairs. The breakfast area and bathroom were also up there. The breakfast was very basic—no eggs, just the bare minimum. Everyone got a pot of yogurt that was already poured, even though I don’t eat yogurt.

Breakfast for €15 a person was varied and decent. The only hiccup was that there wasn’t any soap for the shower.

The place was welcoming and quiet, giving plenty of privacy. The only downside was that it got hot at night—maybe a fan would help.

Communication was smooth and check‑in times were flexible. We were on a cycling trip and could bring our racing bikes inside at night. The breakfast was extensive, and there’s a sauna in the bathroom—nice bonus!
