I liked the location and booked the room for our driver because our hotel, being new, didn't yet have driver accommodation. But that turned out to be the biggest roadblock. We never got to stay because the manager/owner refused to let the driver stay. We arrived late from Kolkata and the manager even accepted a late check‑in, but chaos erupted when he learned it was the driver staying, not me. He was obnoxiously rude and callous, even saying “no driver is allowed to stay.” It was one of the most humiliating experiences of my life to see such inhuman, classist behavior, and he told me not to contact him again.
