“Mountain Paradise”
The spot was perfect, offering mountain and water views that made the setting peaceful and relaxing; the activities were fantastic for both us and the kids, and the staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to keep us happy. I felt that because the hotel was almost empty, they should have upgraded us to a water view—originally I had a water view, but after shifting my stay by one day, the price jumped because it was a holiday, so I switched to a mountain view. I had asked about the view and price increase before arriving. Even though the hotel was nearly empty, it would have been a win‑win to upgrade us to a better view. By the time I realized how empty it was, I didn’t think to ask. The staff present weren’t the owners, but they were amazing—handling everything from greetings and activities to cooking, cleaning, and landscaping.
