The ensuite was nicely decorated and the hot showers were ready whenever we wanted. Our bed was tidied daily while we were out, and towels could be changed on demand. The property sits very close to the Lido water‑taxi stop, and I’d recommend taking the 3‑minute bus instead of walking; there’s also a self‑laundry area nearby. On Sunday morning we had to catch the 7.30 am water‑taxi that left early, so we were told to settle the tourist fees and scan our passports just as we were about to head out—something that should have been organized earlier. Luckily we made it to the bus in time.

“Romantisch aber verwahrlost”

The location is great, the house is pretty and romantic, and it’s away from the tourist crowds. It’s also reachable by bus from the Vaporetto station. The tiny bed has a good mattress and warm bedding. However, the house and front garden were in a state of neglect, and the furnishings were inadequate and lifeless. Cleanliness was poor throughout the week: the bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all, there was only one towel change after four days, no towel rack, no small cupboard or dresser, and the old bathroom window was dangerous and wouldn’t open. It was fine for a weekend, but not for a week.

Die Lage war top! Das Zimmer wunderschön eingerichtet. Aber die Möbel waren nicht besonders funktional. Es gab leider einen Heizkessel im Bad. Hat extrem lange gedauert bis das Wasser "warm" war. War eher lauwarm. Das Bett war an sich bequem aber die Matratze hat sich permanent bewegt und man lag dann schräg im Bett. Lästig

“Wer einen günstigen, einfachen, sauberen Ort zum Übernachten nach langen Tagen in Venedig sucht, ist hier richtig!”

The location was good for Vaporettos via a short bus ride, the host was friendly, and the Italian ambience was nice. Before the stay, any questions I had on the contact portal received no response; only the check‑in time was confirmed. A real drawback was that the fridge wasn’t cold enough even at the maximum setting.
