No positives, the listing feels like a scam. The place is under renovation, the ground floor is unusable and there's no car access. I have recent photos. The ad didn't mention the works until after I paid, and I never got a refund. Nobody was on site, the address looked abandoned. I called out front, walked into the courtyard (gate open) and got no one. I tried canceling via the app and got ignored.

The lodge doesn't offer breakfast, but it's in a great spot. Cleanliness was lacking. No water for the toilet flush. They didn't provide towels or soap.

We loved everything – the house, the reception, the friendly service, the helpfulness, the good chat. Definitely want to come back.

Bathroom had broken towel holders, toilet lid, and tap. TV antenna wires were hanging out in the room. I had to pay for towels and soap. I had to push a heavy gate to get my car out of the parking. The main door wouldn't close and kept banging all night.
