Stepping into the village of Stara Kapela feels like stepping back a century; the Country House Stara Kapela is breathtaking, a unique spot with stunning surroundings, and communication with owner Josip was perfect. Slavonian hospitality at its best! The next morning we met his wife, who was very nice and accommodating. I only have the highest praise for the property, the village, and the owners.

Everything was top‑class! Cleanliness, furniture, apartment layout and supplies, the host’s friendliness and hospitality, the garden and courtyard looked like a postcard. I highly recommend staying here and hope we can come again.

After a long drive, this place felt like a fairy tale where time stopped; it’s quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and close to the highway. The host was exceptionally kind and warm‑hearted, offering welcome drinks, helping with food orders, and making us feel truly welcomed. The house and its surroundings kept an authentic look and feel. Overall, it was a unique experience and we’ll definitely return. We loved everything.

The village stay felt like stepping into a fairytale; the house was super cozy, charming, and quiet—perfect for relaxing. It’s also conveniently near the highway, ideal for a quick stop. The host was exceptionally nice, treating us to wine and beer on arrival, and the village restaurant was super delicious! A real hidden gem; we can’t wait to come back. We only spent one night there.
