We stayed in a family room for five nights with two adults and two kids; the room had a balcony, which was very convenient for drying our stuff after the beach. A partition separated the zones (one side had a large double bed, the other side had two single beds), and there was a balcony exit from both rooms. Floor‑to‑ceiling panoramic windows made the room very bright, blackout curtains allowed us to sleep comfortably in the morning. The AC was excellent. The hotel was new, everything was clean and beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the room had a kettle and a fridge. The room was cleaned daily, water was supplied daily, and if we needed more water we could get it without trouble. They offered free bicycles, which we rode around the island every day, very convenient. There was a bike parking spot on the beach where we could leave them safely. Breakfasts varied each day, always fresh‑squeezed juices, fruit, and the reception had a coffee machine so we could have coffee anytime. The host was very hospitable and kind, personally met us at the pier, brought us to the hotel, offered us coconuts, and on the last evening arranged a barbecue for us, grilling delicious fish with shrimp sauce, rice, vegetables, and fruit – everything was tasty and filling. He told us a lot about the people of Todu, about his family, came personally to see us off, and gave us gifts. It was very valuable and pleasant! The only downside was the lack of hooks in the bathroom, but I think that will be added as the hotel is still being finished; otherwise everything was fine.

We were planning our first Maldives vacation and started looking for accommodation months before the trip. There weren’t many options for a family of four (2+2) on Booking, and we found Kin’bi Inn Guesthouse. The hotel was brand new with no reviews, so we booked at our own risk, and now we can confidently say it was one of the best decisions of our trip. 1. Great location – the hotel is very conveniently located, only about a 10‑minute walk to the beach. The walk goes down a beautiful palm alley, and strolling under the palms was a real pleasure, especially in hot days. The hotel has bicycles you can use, but since we were traveling with kids, we preferred to walk. 2. Cozy and clean – the guesthouse is very cozy. Everything is new, neat, and well‑maintained. The rooms are spacious, bright, and very comfortable. Cleaning was done daily – everything was always clean and fresh. It feels like the team really tries to create a pleasant atmosphere for guests. 3. Comfortable family room – we stayed in a family room with two double beds. The beds were huge, the mattresses were very comfortable – we slept wonderfully. There were plenty of pillows, and the bedding was spotless. We also liked the idea of zoning the space with a wooden partition – it makes the room even more convenient for a family. 4. Breakfast – we also liked the breakfast. Every day they served fresh‑squeezed juice, tasty coffee, traditional Maldivian flatbreads with tuna and coconut. There were also fruit, jam, omelette, and other nice additions. The breakfast was hearty and tasty – a great start to the day. 5. Incredible host – I want to thank the owner of the guesthouse, Shabba, a huge amount. He is incredibly kind, hospitable, and responsive. He was always ready to help and sincerely tried to make our stay perfect. The only thing that might need improvement is adding shelves in the bathroom and bedside tables.

I was blown away by the hotel! Even though it was still under construction—only the first three floors were finished, with the reception on the ground floor and two guest floors—there were no construction noises during our stay, or at least we didn't notice any. Everything for guests was spotlessly clean and tidy. The rooms were great, with excellent beds, pillows, and linens, and the towels were very good and plentiful. When we needed anything else, the staff were quick to provide it. Their service was attentive yet unobtrusive. We had both the Maldivian and continental breakfasts; I chose the Maldivian because I liked the local flavor. I booked the hotel without any reviews on Booking, only a few Google comments, and I didn't regret it at all. If I ever get the chance to visit Toddu again, I’d happily stay there again. Huge thanks to everyone who made our vacation even more enjoyable!
