We were very happy with the size of the luxury room with a king‑size bed. It’s especially nice to have a living‑room area too. There are two fantastic snorkeling spots within walking distance: one right in front of the accommodation (just walk past the gate to the right, then turn left at the corner on the boulevard next to the stone wall to climb over the stones to the beach), and the other you reach by following the same route along the water until just before the big white hotel, where there’s a beach under the big trees. Frank and Lut are very friendly people who let you be completely free and will help you anywhere. The food, prepared by Lydia, is very tasty. The only downside: we like to move around on our own by scooter, but unfortunately there’s no scooter rental in Amurang, so we couldn’t explore the city and surroundings as well as we’d have liked.

The House looks stunning, and the owners are very nice. Dinner offers fantastic local dishes, and the location is perfect for traveling to Gorontalo from Manado. It sits right in front of the sea and is only 5 minutes from the local warungs that serve great food. The place is very quiet and even has a pool. However, the beds are not very comfortable, and the bedrooms and bathrooms could be cleaner.

The spot is beautiful and calm, with a pool, and the staff are friendly. The mattress did sag a bit.
