Quiet, peaceful retreat. Lovely host Nora. Breakfast features homemade products, comfortable beds, and a small portion of Daugava, which is worth it. If you love quiet, this is the right place.

I’ve been here twice now, and the staff still greet you with genuine warmth; breakfast and dinner keep the same delicious taste, especially the potato pancakes. If you want a few days close to nature and wake up to a bright morning song, this is the place.

The breakfast was fantastic, and at home I tried making a sandwich with a cracked egg inside a crusty bread slice. The host carefully checked that everyone was satisfied and offered to cook more if needed—very pleasant!

We had a wonderful weekend, arriving by chance (we drove to Aglona 48 km away and visited Kraslava 10 km away). We’ll definitely return for a break, either alone or with friends. Huge thanks to the amazing hosts—truly perfect. Staying with you made me love Latvia even more.
