The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and we felt very safe with our little children; the zip line on the playground was a highlight. However, there were basically no vegan options, the restaurant had old‑school décor that would be considered non‑woke, the terrace was very popular, and people were having a good time.

We stayed at a nice, small‑scale campsite during the Heuvellandvierdaagse; the toilets were clean, the restaurant was pleasant, and there was a nice pool. The pipowagen was not large, but we had great weather so we could relax outside on our terrace for the vehicle, and the bed was less suitable for taller people.

“voor kind en ouder een geweldige plek!”

The paddle‑boat was a lot of fun and the restaurant right next to the playground served really tasty food, making it definitely worth a repeat visit. One minor suggestion would be to add a water dispenser in the paddle‑boat, though it isn’t essential.

“Heel gezellig kamperen in de pipowagen!”

The pipowagen was cozy and charmingly decorated, and we loved the pool and playground. I found the pipowagen quite basic in terms of facilities, lacking a hook for drying a towel, but for a 3‑day stay with a child I was glad the weather was great and everything could stay outside.

“Nette camping met gezellig terras (eten en drinken) en keurige accommodatie.”

I stayed in a cozy place, but there was no air conditioning and no umbrella on the terrace, so the whole day it was in the sun.
