This place is a great launchpad for exploring the Teutoburger Forest, a real family-run hotel with genuine hospitality from the owners who make time for you and chat. I also received a handwritten tip for a walking trail. Old-fashioned friendliness is rare these days, and the on‑site restaurant, with homemade cakes, is worth a visit.
