The location is perfect right on the lake shore, with parking at the property and a terrace offering a view. The cleaning isn’t entirely good, and there are huge numbers of mosquitoes in the evening.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there’s a lovely private beach and a cinema nearby. It’s dog-friendly; we traveled with our small dog, just like almost all our neighbors at the guesthouse. The Wi‑Fi is officially available but practically unusable; I couldn’t send a single message over three days. The TV is old, not smart, and only a few channels are accessible. The place could be cleaner; the housekeeping isn’t very thorough. The train station and bus stop aren’t too far, but trains hardly stop here and buses run very rarely, making it hard to get back to the center of Fonyód.
The reception ladies are ready to help, friendly and helpful. During breakfast, the wait was long, the place was small and crowded, and we had to switch tables because of the layout. The food was adequate except that the English breakfast was charged extra. The service and table cleanliness left some things to be desired, and we had to wait so long for coffee that we almost didn’t expect it.
