“Uncomfortable and sleepless”

The room was clean, but the location was noisy and the parking was horrible, making it unsuitable for a single woman. I didn’t receive a notification that I had to go to the 4th floor for my key or instructions on how to access the 3rd floor; I only got that information from another guest.

“Outside Noise is unbearable”

The room was spacious, clean, full of character, and came with many amenities, yet the noise was absolutely unbearable. The bowling alley didn’t bother me, but the outside noise could be heard clearly through the thin, old windows until 3 am, with no warning that this could happen. I was woken around 8 am by a loud person outside singing the same part repeatedly, followed by construction sounds. The location was inconvenient, far from anything, and the construction made it hard to find and get to. I was there during an event, so I understand a price increase, but given the severe noise issues that ruined my sleep – the main purpose of a hotel room – the price felt ridiculous and I felt taken advantage of. It was a last resort, and knowing what I know now, I might have just come a day later instead of staying here.

The retro area and room were beautiful, the room was spotless and large, and everyone was very nice!
