The location was great, but the bar’s music was too loud and noisy.
This place has it all – amazing location right on the beach, brilliant staff and owner, and the best live band I've heard in Asia. They play till 11 pm, so you can still get a good night's sleep if you need to, or keep the party going at Escape just a short walk down the beach. Highly recommend it – I'll definitely be back!
“A fuir à toutes jambes !!!!”
The hotel's location was right on the front, which was great, but that's where the positives end. The welcome was pretty poor, and it felt like the owners were only there to collect money. The photos on the ad were completely misleading - the pool was filthy, the sheets had a hole in them, there were no hangers, no mirror in the bathroom, and the tap was held together with duct tape (which, of course, was leaking).
The terrace was spacious with nice furniture and a lovely view, and we enjoyed live music in the evenings; it was also close to restaurants, shops and the beach. However, the music kept playing loudly after 9 pm and we didn’t get the sea view we booked – we had to pay extra to upgrade.
The only good thing about this hotel is that it's right on the beach. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The bar next door is a nightmare – some amateur rock band that just won't shut up. Forget about getting any sleep.
