The location was very nice and calm, the big room let in a lot of sun and fresh air, and Lissy the owner was helpful and decent—she even noticed we’d left an expensive watch before we realized it and arranged to send it back, for which I’m forever grateful.

The property was close to the main attractions and the room was large, but the room shown in the photos was not the one I stayed in. The owner/manager was rude, screamed at me, and insulted me on checkout day because they didn’t accept card or online payment; I’d lost my bank card a week before and had to pay with most of my cash, and the lady said, “you talk too much but all you say is blah blah blah. You think you’re smart but you’re not. Just shut your mouth.” I tried to resolve the issue by suggesting other payment options and calling my tour company for help. The bedsheets were dirty, had to be changed twice, and even the new ones had stains (photos attached); I only noticed the stains after flipping them over. There was no card or online payment option, and the A/C required an extra fee—if I didn’t pay, they wouldn’t give me the remote, which feels inappropriate since the A/C was already in the room. Toiletry bottles were almost empty, and toilet paper wasn’t provided, so I had to ask for it.

The place was spotless and the layout was charming, but the mattress felt very hard and the hotel sits just off the main road, about a 20‑minute walk to town or a quick auto rickshaw ride.
