Finding the place was easy, but everything advertised in the booking ad turned out to be false: there was no breakfast, no pool or hot tub access, and the staff were not chatty or friendly – we had to hunt someone down in the restaurant to let us into our room. Cats on the balcony screamed to come in, so we couldn’t use the space, and I was very disappointed.

Everything I wanted was fine—cleanliness, amenities, the pool. The food at the restaurant was tasty, with a wide selection and great prices. But I booked two rooms with balconies on the second floor. When we arrived, we were given attic rooms on the third floor. After I protested that these were not the rooms I paid for, they said it was a mix‑up and refunded the price difference. That didn’t solve the problems. We’re both 65 years old and climbing stairs is not trivial, and the attic has a low ceiling, so I hit my head several times on the way to the bathroom at night. A serious hotel like this, such as Fuc, cannot allow such mistakes.

The room was spotless, the air‑conditioner worked perfectly, the food was good, it was quiet, and the staff were really friendly; the prices were totally reasonable, there was a kids’ corner right next to the complex, a pool, and overall I liked almost everything, especially that they turned off the music around 11‑12 pm, which made sense, and the TV was a large one. On the downside, the locals were a bit hard to understand at first—nothing serious—but the internet would drop out when about ten devices connected, cutting off at channel 6, though when I was alone it was fine.

The staff were friendly, very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the food was good. It was a shame the pool wasn’t open.

This hotel is a gem, the staff went above and beyond their normal duties to make us feel very welcome, and the hotel was spotlessly clean everywhere. The food was excellent, all freshly cooked to order. The only sour note was that the swimming pool was being cleaned in preparation for the bank holiday opening, but the pool looked very nice. All staff were brilliant and courteous at all times. I will stay there again.
