“Unique location, views spectacular, staff both friendly and efficient . Food off the scale great.”
The location is unique and the building design’s restrictions are the best.

The stay feels uncomplicated and comfortable, just like it has for many years.

The location is magnificent, the rooms are very comfortable, the dinner at the gourmet restaurant is fabulous, and the breakfast is delicious.

The location, staff, and food are great. The room is too cramped and the bathroom is a squeeze.

There’s a lot to admire about this hotel. The staff are exceptional and operate at a standard comparable with some of the best hotels in the world. A special mention goes to the maître d' in the restaurant, who is a seriously talented operator; he runs the dining room with professionalism, warmth, and complete control. The food is outstanding, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well presented. We booked two rooms for our family of four—one adult and one child in each room—but the hotel placed our rooms as far apart as possible. When we asked to move them closer, they asked if we had requested that, we said no. It should have been obvious from the booking that the rooms were intended for one family. Overall, the hotel is good, but it is significantly overpriced for what it offers. Our rooms overlooked the rear of the property, which was perfectly adequate, but certainly not worth the premium being charged. We left feeling that the experience did not justify the cost, and as Swiss we already have a different perspective on what things should cost.
