The owner Franca was very friendly and helpful, and the place is a short walk from a metro station. However, it sits on the ground floor and the elevator doesn’t stop there, so moving luggage is a bit of a hassle.

The location is great for visiting Rome, right next to the Vatican, restaurants, the metro, and a very pleasant neighborhood. The host is very friendly and a real pleasure to chat with; a wonderful person.

The staff were kind. The metro station is close, and it’s about a 5‑minute walk to the Vatican, which is fantastic. The area around the hotel is quiet and safe. After checking in around 8 p.m., the staff had left for the day (but it wasn’t a problem). There was no kettle or cup in the room, so I had to borrow the ones from the dining area.
