Everything was great. We’ve been here twice now.
“Middle of Nowhere”
Very clean and confortable (or we were too tired). Preety view for endless fields. Calm place no noise during the night. Host only spoke italian, couldn't help us secure transport to town nearby. (taxi , taxi number, how to call a cab not speaking italian - anything, not even using google transate). Host had an interior door to access our room which only locked from HIS side - which was weird. we had to move furniture in front of the door to sleep without being affraid someone entered our room. (all went smothly but still weird) Location wasn't great (it was in middle of no where), 1h walk to nearest train station. there were buses (in theory) but being a holiday we had to walk to the train. Beware: There is a street with the same name in nearby town where we thought we were going ended up 1h30 away (on foot) of where we wanted to stay. - this is not the hosts fault address is correct
The gentlemen were very kind and helpful.
The room matched the description exactly, parking was just a meter from the entrance, the wooden furniture was lovely, and the bathroom was large with a shower. It was fine for a single night, but it would feel cramped for more days. The only downside was that the owners had a direct entrance to the rented room from their house through a door that couldn’t be locked from the inside, so I didn’t feel very private.
“Piccolo angolo di quiete”
The room was clean and spacious, located in a beautiful spot with vineyards in front of the entrance. The property also has a parking spot for one car right in front of the main door, making it very convenient for unloading luggage.
