I really liked the nature connection, the farm animals, and the local food; the hot water was a big plus in that cold weather. The cold was a bit harsh, so maybe lighter but warmer blankets would be better; the shower drain was clogged, which wasn’t a problem for me but could bother other guests.

The place and our host were good, but the advertised price was wrong and we were charged an extra 26 dollars.

The family is exceptionally warm and friendly. The rooms are tucked into a lovely garden and clean. A few dogs and cats live here too, but they’re very calm and especially quiet at night. We had the chance to learn a few Quechua words and customs. Our kids felt just as comfortable as we did! A good day starts with a great breakfast :-) The breakfast was very good and varied. The family prepared a healthy breakfast tailored to our preferences, with fresh milk, fresh fruit or juice, freshly made jam, and pancakes.

Loved the room with the fireplace, comfortable bed and the surrounding garden. The family was very friendly welcoming and helpful giving directions. They also invited me for their Christmas fun and dinner. The food was just devine. The only thing I did not like was the loud music. Various places in the village taking turns playing their noise all over the place, including the whole night on Saturday
