The staff were responsive. The room was quiet, the AC was quiet, and the neighbors were quiet. The beds were excellent, and there was a place to work. Two issues: the internet was a bit weak and I couldn’t upload a video to YouTube. At first I was pleased to see a full kitchen with stove, microwave, and kettle, but then they told me, “This isn’t for you, young man.” Still, you can live without the kitchen.

The last‑minute booking option and the friendly, helpful staff were positives, but the price of about €18 per night doesn’t justify the condition and lack of hygiene. The room was unhygienic: the toilet had no window or ventilation and smelled strongly, there was no toilet paper upon arrival, and the shower couldn’t be locked. There was no secure storage for personal items and no privacy when changing clothes. The sleeping area and bathroom looked very untidy. As a solo female traveler sharing the room with several men, I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe.

I appreciated the kindness and hospitality with which the host welcomed me; the place feels safe in the city centre. I didn’t have time to think about that!

The peaceful garden area and its location within the old town are fantastic. Nothing to dislike.
