“Great stay in a wonderful historic building in the centre of Dedham.”
Very central (though Dedham is tiny anyway). We really enjoyed staying in such a historic spot as a family. The staff were friendly and attentive, the gardens were pretty, and the complimentary drinks were a hit! On the downside, while we liked the food, the options for everyone were quite limited. Breakfast was nice, but it would have helped to have cereal and regular bread instead of sourdough. It would have been nice to have biscuits with the coffee/tea in the room rather than just biscuits.

Everything about this hotel was great – the location, setting, rooms, food, garden, and especially the staff, notably Tom. We’ve already booked to return at the end of the month. There was nothing to dislike.

The setting is fantastic. The staff are very friendly. Dinner was excellent. The rooms feel a bit tired, which isn’t a huge problem, but we had stayed the night before at the White Hart, their sister hotel, and it felt a notch better in comfort and décor.
