The location is outstanding, just a 5‑10 minute walk from Chapel Bridge and close to the lake. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but you can also grab take‑away food and sit by the lake—it’s so romantic. The staff are friendly, and Lars kindly let us stay in an apartment while we waited for our trip back to Paris. Ice tea, Victoria, Sandy, and Toby are great people and we’re lucky to have met them. Their service is exceptional.

The staff were exceptional! Lars, the managing director, went above and beyond to keep my wife and me safe and comfortable. He let us stay in another facility he manages while we waited for our 2 am trip back to Paris—who would do that? “Iced Tea” and Sandy welcomed us with smiles, and Toby and Victoria were helpful and amazing. The hotel feels very homely and clean. Lucerne is not only stunningly beautiful but also has very nice people. I thought Bern would be our favorite Swiss city, but Lucerne is by far the prettiest. Lars and the team, we will forever be grateful to all of you! We’ll definitely see you again!
