Hound Hotel Yeonsan

I booked this place hoping for the great facilities shown in photos, but the cleanliness was the worst—hair and dust on the table and floor, crumbs everywhere, even bugs. I called the front desk and they were unhelpful; the cleaner came and just dabbed with a mop, asking what was wrong and leaving. There was no vacuum. I was so upset that after a late night show I checked in around 11 pm, tired and too late to complain properly. This place needs serious improvement, and I never want to stay here again or recommend it.

Overall it was a good 3‑star hotel; the staff were very accommodating and the breakfast simple but nice. I thought the price was high, probably because it’s close to the concert venue. For seniors, the open shower posed a safety risk.

The staff were helpful and we even received free snacks as a welcome gift. The area is central enough but not so crowded that the main spots get too packed. Cleanliness was an issue—stray hairs and liquids. When we asked for a room cleaning they did the bare minimum, didn’t change towels or toilet paper.

We booked a room for 8 people, but it turned out to be for only two, and we were charged an extra fee per person plus 15,000 KRW for each bed.
